Interventure is a club service project aimed at fostering innovation and collaboration among club members. This year’s project is led by Chairperson Int. Dewmini De Zilva, with assistance from Secretary Int. Inuk Maddumarachchi, Treasurer Int. Ashen Bandara, and Editor Int. Sammani Mudannayaka. It encompasses the seven avenues of Club Service, Community Service, Green Life, Finance, International Understanding, Rotary-Rotaract Relations, and Public Relations, which will participate in competing projects related to various past events and cultural legacies.
A bidding period allows teams to submit project proposals, with opportunities for revisions. Once project dates are assigned, teams begin their work, adhering to deadlines for project reports and awards applications. This project aims to promote creativity and innovation, bolster teamwork and leadership skills, recognize excellence, enhance avenue engagement, develop leadership succession, and raise awareness of diverse cultures and customs.
Awards will be presented in several categories, including Best Interactor, Best Editor, Best Treasurer, Best Secretary, Best Chairperson, Best Director, and Most Innovative Project. Additionally, a bidding session will kick off the project, followed by activities such as the Battle of Likes and an Interventure Poster Campaign on social media, culminating in the Interventure Awards Night to celebrate the achievements of all participants.
