“Volunteer An Animal 3.0” is an annual project conducted by ICRI under the avenue of Green Life which aims to provide essential medical supplies to a dog shelter located in Ragama in order to assist underprivileged dogs within several areas such as medical support, limited resources and abandonment.

This project seeks to enhance the daily lives of these animals by providing and donating various medicine and veterinary supplies to guarantee adequate care for these deserving animals. It also assists the shelter in improving the living environment for the dogs and ensure compassionate care and rehabilitation.

This well-planned initiative has several objectives that they wish to accomplish which includes ensuring comfort and basic necessities for vulnerable animals and also safeguarding and alleviating their shelter environment through the use of engaging activities, socialization and affection.

Moreover, further goals include the raising of funds through donations and other means in order to afford and donate dry rations and medicine to further support the shelter. Additionally, there is a great focus towards awareness to advocate for animal welfare through methods of volunteering, community involvement, attention towards the underprivileged and encouraging support.

This wonderful initiative continues to inspire our community to take a stand in support of animal rights and continues to make a deserved difference in our society, one step at a time.
